Kelly’s “Kows” (not a misspelling) is an oil on canvas painting of a herd of cows in a lush green field. Two of the cows stand in the foreground, the others at a distance. To the right behind the cows stand three evergreens and behind them a row of more evergreens, topped by a classic summer sky trimmed with fluffy clouds.

Little Boy and the Ocean is an oil on canvas painting. The sky in the top half of the painting is a rich blue with only smudges of white clouds. The ocean dominates the lower half of the painting. At the horizon the waves are a true blue, gradually blending to a pale aqua near the shore. Standing in the middle of the narrow strip of sand in the foreground is a young boy next to a taller person.

Winter on Yellow Creek is an oil on canvas painting of twin trees, joined at the base and stripped of their leaves, but spreading their snow-kissed branches across the width and height of the canvas. Winding past the trees in the middle of the painting is a creek, its water yellowish from the dim sun above. And a narrow gray road cuts diagonally across the scene from the bottom left corner and disappears into the dense forest in the background of the painting.
